Volunteer database for companies, voluntary persons and associations
The volunteer database is used to register companies and volunteer organizations and individuals (e.g. sports clubs or charities) who would like to offer prisoners the opportunity for an internship, apprenticeship or job. They can enter their offers in the database themselves; the registration is optional for everyone involved. This enables them to support prisoners on their way to a stable social structure after their time in prison and makes it easier for them to access the job market. Prison officers and associated NGOs are given direct access to the database in order to be able to refer to offers from companies or volunteers. The Access to the data of the registered participants is only possible for the prisons or associated NGOs of the project, but interested parties can optionally allow other companies and volunteers to view the data when registering on the database.
The project partners promote the database and manage the contacts acquired, record them in their networks and establish a connection to the prisons associated with NEXT STEPS. The volunteer database can be accessed platform-independently, i.e. via smartphone or tablet as well as browser-supported via a computer.
